Relocating from Bay City, Myra joined our team as a patient care coordinator. As part of the front office and as a former dental assistant she brings with her over 25 years of dental experience. Myra strongly believes that every patient and their dental health is her top priority. When she is not in the office Myra enjoys spending time with her three daughters and their growing families. She also loves a good book, and exploring the many wonders of mitten state.
Anjy has been working in the dental field since she was 16 years old. She is very passionate about the periodontal field, having worked for a periodontist for over 13 years as a Certified Dental Assistant where she assisted in multiple surgeries and educated patients about periodontal disease and all the potential risks that are involved. She decided to pursue her career in Perio, but from an administrative aspect due to her love of taking care of patients’ and their needs. In her spare time, Anjy enjoys spending time with her husband and her three beautiful children. She is an avid football fan, and loves watching Tom Brady and The New England Patriots.
Tisha is a graduate of Central Michigan University. New to the dental field, she is excited to learn all about the industry. She is very passionate about helping others and building patient relationships. During her free time, Tisha enjoys attending Red Wings games, hiking, playing/coaching volleyball, snowboarding and spending time with her dogs, Oliver and Sadie!
Kelli has worked in the dental field for over 15 years in General Dentistry, Orthodontics and her passion being periodontics. Kelli has worked with Dr. Bhola for over eleven years at Advanced Periodontics & Implantology and Metropolitan Dental Center. She has helped in numerous Continuing Education courses, from lectures to hands on surgical courses the past several years. In her free time, Kelli enjoys running. She recently ran the Boston Marathon in 2015, running for the American Liver Foundation. When she is not training for her next race she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
Jessica earned her certificate in dental assisting at Dorsey school in 2016. She has always had a passion for the dental field as well as making people feel better about their smile and appearance. Becoming a member of the team at Advanced Periodontics has been one of her greatest successes. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
The dental field has always peaked Allyce’s interest ever since she was a child. Having worked five years at University of Michigan’s Oral Surgery department as a Patient Service Associate, she gained the experience and knowledge in the surgical aspect of dentistry. She was happy to join Advanced Periodontics as a patient care coordinator. Allyce loves spending time with her twin boys and bringing smiles to other’s faces.
Kallie is in her third year at Wayne State University. Since a young age, she has always aspired to become a dentist. Kallie wants to change the outlook some may have about the dentist by providing the best possible care and making their visit more enjoyable. Kallie is a member of Wayne State University’s Swimming and Diving Team, The Wayne State University’s Love your Melon Campus Crew, and the Pre-Professional Medical Society. In her free time, Kallie enjoys biking, baking, and reading.
Lejla joined our team in March 2018, previously working as a care coordinator and assistant at a general dentistry clinic. She was very excited to join the team here at Advanced Periodontics and Implantology. When she is not at the office, Lejla likes to spend time outdoors with her husband and 2 children. We are very happy to have her as a part of our team!
Ashley joined our team in November 2019, previously working as a care coordinator at a general dentistry clinic, with 5 years experience in general dentistry and orthodontics. Ashley\'s passion for the dental field sparked when her sister, Nichole, got her involved in dentistry. Ever since then, Ashley has been passionate about educating patients and giving them the compassion and patient care they deserve. When Ashley is not working, she enjoys spending time with her significant other, Evan, and her family. She has also been involved in seasonal running, and competed in a few marathons. Ashley also enjoys working as a graphic designer as she has previous education in the graphic design field. We are happy to call Ashley a team member at Advanced Periodontics and Implantology.
Jessica Stone has been a patient coordinator for almost four years now, previously at a General Dentistry office and now she can be found smiling away at our Plymouth location. Her love of dentistry brought her to API so that she may learn more about dentistry from a specialty aspect. She enjoys working and helping people. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family, and enjoying what life has to offer.
Leah earned her certificate in dental assisting at Kaplan career institute in 2010 and has been working as a dental assistant for the past 5 years. She is certified in Emergency Medical Response and Basic Life support for health care providers through American Red Cross. Leah is extremely passionate about dentistry and loves helping people and making them feel comfortable and confident during their dental treatment. When she is not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her seven-year-old son, reading, doing art and playing baseball.
Devyani has over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant and holds a Dental Assistant’s Certificate. From lab impressions to surgery preparation, Devyani has been a go-to person over the years and she looks forward to beginning her tenure at Advanced Periodontics. She is a proud mother of two grown boys and a grandmother to two little girls. Devyani likes to spend her free time with family and doing yoga to stay in shape.
Amber is a new addition to the API family. She has been in the dental field for 6 years. After being in General Dentistry for 5 years she knew that she wanted to specialize in the periodontal field of dentistry. Dentistry is a passion for Amber and she enjoys getting to know and educate her patients. Amber has found her home here working alongside everyone at API. Prior to dentistry, Amber was a member of the United States Air Force. In her free time, Amber likes to spend her time cooking, reading and making memories with her daughter Anabelle and their kitty April.
Vianca has worked in the dental field for over 6 years in General dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and Periodontics. Vianca is bilingual, so not only does she assist but also a huge asset in translating for our Spanish speaking patients. She loves to spend her free time with her husband and son Giovanni. She enjoys salsa dancing, traveling and being outdoors.
Jessica, or Jessie, as she likes being called is new to the dental field. Her passion for making patients feel at home and making them smile is what drew her to the dental field. She is extremely grateful to have the opportunity to be working with such an inspiring team and doctors. \"You know you love your job when you leave with a smile on your face and you feel like you have made someone’s day just that much better.\"
Sabrina has been a dental hygienist for over 5 years and over 10 years of experience as a dental assistant. Sabrina is a 2013 graduate from WCCCD and learned early in her career that Periodontics was always her passion. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats, while striving to ensure our patients always feel 100% comfortable during their visit. To her, there is nothing more gratifying than educating and helping others achieve optimal oral hygiene.
Cindee studied Dental Hygiene at Wayne County Community College and graduated in 2018. As a hygienist, Cindee\'s priority is to make her patients feel comfortable. She likes to provide education on oral health and preventive care while having fun with them. Cindee really enjoys interacting with her patients and learning about their lives outside the office. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care. In her free time, she loves being with her family and exploring the beautiful state of Michigan. She loves to garden, camp, and serve in her local Church’s kids\' ministry.
