Meet Our Staff

Myra L. Franklin

Office Manager, Plymouth
Director of Education

Relocating from Bay City, Myra joined our team as a patient care coordinator. As part of the front office and as a former dental assistant she brings with her over 25 years of dental experience. Myra strongly believes that every patient and their dental health is her top priority. When she is not in the office Myra enjoys spending time with her three daughters and their growing families. She also loves a good book, and exploring the many wonders of mitten state.

Anjy Boussy

Office Manager, Livonia

Anjy has been working in the dental field since she was 16 years old. She is very passionate about the periodontal field, having worked for a periodontist for over 12 years as a Certified Dental Assistant where she assisted in multiple surgeries and educated patients about periodontal disease and all the potential risks that are involved. She decided to become a patient coordinator due to her love of taking care of patients’ and their needs. In her spare time, Anjy enjoys spending time with her husband of 9 years and her three beautiful children. She is an avid football fan, and loves watching Tom Brady and The New England Patriots!

Sarah M. Bieri

Insurance Coordinator

With over ten years in the dental field, Sarah brings bright energy and strong leadership qualities to the office. She takes pride in making sure our patients have the best possible service and utmost patient care. Sarah joined our team in 2014 and has added value to ensure treatment planning, billing and the overall function of our office is seamless. She is an invaluable asset to our team. While away from the office, Sarah enjoys lake living with her husband, son, and dog Tank.

Tisha Gazley

Patient Care Coordinator

Tisha is a graduate of Central Michigan University. New to the dental field, she is excited to learn all about the industry. She is very passionate about helping others and building patient relationships. During her free time, Tisha enjoys attending Red Wings games, hiking, playing/coaching volleyball, snowboarding and spending time with her dog, Oliver!

Allyce Mason

Patient Care Coordinator

The dental field has always peaked Allyce’s interest ever since she was a child.  Having worked five years at University of Michigan’s Oral Surgery department as a Patient Service Associate, she gained the experience and knowledge in the surgical aspect of dentistry. She was happy to join Advanced Periodontics as a patient care coordinator. Allyce loves spending time with her twin boys and bringing smiles to other’s faces.

Shayna Lenox

Patient Care Coordinator

Shayna is new to API but not the dental industry. She has 6 year experience within the dental field; ranging from front desk, new patient coordinator to hygiene/dental assisting. She has stayed in this field because she has a passion for patient care and being apart of why the patients leave smiling. When Shayna is not working she spends her time studying and playing out doors with her two dogs. She is excited to be apart of a great team!

Lejla Elmazaj

Patient Care Coordinator

Lejla joined our team in March 2018, previously working as a care coordinator and assistant at a general dentistry clinic. She was very excited to join the team here at Advanced Periodontics and Implantology. When she is not at the office, Lejla likes to spend time outdoors with her husband and 2 children. We are very happy to have her as a part of our team!

Renea J. Mullenax

Clinic Manager & Surgical Assistant

Renea has been a dental assistant for over 25 years and a specialized periodontal assistant for over 15 years. She enjoys her daily interaction with patients and helps them feel comfortable during their treatment. Renea has been married for nineteen years and has two children, Michael and Megan. When Renea is not working, she enjoys reading and traveling and watching her son play baseball and her daughter’s dance performances.

Kelli White

Clinic Manager & Surgical Assistant

Kelli has worked in the dental field for over 15 years in General Dentistry, Orthodontics and her passion being periodontics. Kelli has worked with Dr. Bhola for over eleven years at Advanced Periodontics & Implantology and Metropolitan Dental Center. She has helped in numerous Continuing Education courses, from lectures to hands on surgical courses the past several years. In her free time, Kelli enjoys running. She recently ran the Boston Marathon in 2015, running for the American Liver Foundation. When she is not training for her next race she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Jessica Wymer

Surgical Assistant

Jessica earned her certificate in dental assisting at Dorsey school in 2016. She has always had a passion for the dental field as well as making people feel better about their smile and appearance. Becoming a member of the team at Advanced Periodontics has been one of her greatest successes. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Leah Harris

Surgical Assistant

Leah earned her certificate in dental assisting at Kaplan career institute in 2010 and has been working as a dental assistant for the past 5 years. She is certified in Emergency Medical Response and Basic Life support for health care providers through American Red Cross. Leah is extremely passionate about dentistry and loves helping people and making them feel comfortable and confident during their dental treatment. When she is not working, Leah enjoys spending time with her seven-year-old son, reading, doing art and playing baseball.

Priscilla Rodriguez

Surgical Assistant

Priscilla is new to the dental assistant field. She graduated from Everest Institute’s Dental Assisting Program in 2015. Dentistry has always been an inspiration to her. “There’s so much involved with dentistry, it’s fun to learn new things everyday and help people love their smile and teeth!” Priscilla likes to dedicate some of her time volunteering at her church who always help people in need. During her free time, she enjoys playing softball, traveling to different places, photography, reading and taking her daughter, Alayna, to her t-ball games, gymnastics and ballet classes.

Morgan Marchido

Surgical Assistant

Morgan has had a passion for dentistry since she was a child. She is a native to Michigan but graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with an AA in pre-dentistry and further graduated from the dental assisting program from Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology. Morgan has been a CDA for over 4 years now. Her career started in General Dentistry and now she has made it to the “big leagues” …Periodontics and Implantology! She has always enjoyed helping patients feel comfortable and aiding them in achieving their dream smile. In her free time, she is always busy with her two children, Maddie and Joey. Morgan loves being outdoors every chance she gets and of course spending time with family and friends.

Gabrielle Hooks

Surgical Assistant

Gabrielle, better known as Gabi, is from Detroit but moved o Seattle in 2015 after graduating high school and attended Seattle University. She moved back to Michigan in 2018 to pursue her Dental Assisting career at Detroit School of Dental Assisting. Outside of work Gabi enjoys writing, traveling and going to concerts. When she is not on the go she is at home lounging with her puppy!

Cory Brydges

Dental Assistant

As a recent addition to the amazing team at Advanced Periodontics, Cory has just begun her exciting journey into the world of Dentistry and Periodontics! With each day and every new experience, her knowledge and love for the field grow rapidly. Her every-day goal is to make patients’ visits comfortable and comprehensible. At home, Cory spends her time loving, raising, and nurturing her daughter, Charlitt, with whom she likes to read, assemble jigsaw puzzles, and enjoy one another’s company; they both hope to one day have their small family expand.

Devyani Kapadia

Dental Assistant

Devyani has over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant and holds a Dental Assistant’s Certificate.  From lab impressions to surgery preparation, Devyani has been a go-to person over the years and she looks forward to beginning her tenure at Advanced Periodontics.  She is a proud mother of two grown boys and a grandmother to two little girls.  Devyani likes to spend her free time with family and doing yoga to stay in shape.

Kallie Krueger

Office Assistant

Kallie is in her third year at Wayne State University. Since a young age, she has always aspired to become a dentist. Kallie wants to change the outlook some may have about the dentist by providing the best possible care and making their visit more enjoyable. Kallie is a member of Wayne State University’s Swimming and Diving Team, The Wayne State University’s Love your Melon Campus Crew, and the Pre-Professional Medical Society. In her free time, Kallie enjoys biking, baking, and reading.

Allison L. Kirk

Registered Dental Hygienist

Allison graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1998 with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2007. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Periodontal field for the past eight years. In her professional life, Allison enjoys making her patients feel comfortable during their appointments while optimizing their oral health. In her personal life she enjoys time socializing with friends and family and traveling with her two children.

Nada Chami

Registered Dental Hygienist

Nada graduated dental hygiene from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 2013. She received a Bachelors of Science and a Certificate in Dental Hygiene with awards and honors. Also, she is certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and CPR. Nada is skilled in educating patients’ the importance of oral and systemic health relationship. When it comes to oral hygiene instructions, she individually assess each person’s need and customizes a home care regimen. For her, the most rewarding part of being at Advanced Periodontics & Implantology is working side by side with her professors’ when she was a student at University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Nada likes to explore outdoor nature, work out, shop, and study multiculturalism.

Sabrina Luke

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sabrina has been a dental hygienist for over 5 years and over 10 years experience as a dental assistant. Sabrina is a 2013 graduate from WCCCD and learned early in her career that Periodontics was always her passion. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats, while striving to ensure our patients always feel 100% comfortable during their visit. To her, there is nothing more gratifying then educating and helping others achieve optimal oral hygiene.
